Lebanon's TARA was established in 2009 (Registration number 61 from the Ministry of internal Affairs) is a non-profit organization which operates for the benefit of all Lebanese without discrimination based on religion, color, or political affiliation and in the spirit of equality, dignity, and inclusiveness. The Association is a non-profit organization that provides services to its affiliates and beneficiaries. The association's work is supported by planning processes which protect the association's investments through compulsory reserves and by its legal structure which exempts its projects from Lebanese taxation and other operational restrictions. The capabilities of the participants in this project and its stable well-organized structure are the key to association's stability and success. The Board of Directors adopted the principle of charity and interdependence in the provision of services and care by stimulating the spirit of participation of all members of Lebanese society to serve one another. Every Lebanese citizen needs his Lebanese brothers and sisters in the face of the crises that afflict our society, and protection of the spirit of coexistence between the peoples of this country is of paramount importance.
Establishing an association in Lebanon has a distinct flavor that we may not find in any other country, as the principle of solidarity must be supplemented by charitable work because of our sense of responsibility towards each other, and it must bear national responsibility, which drives us to participate in national events as well as cooperation with government agencies and support.
Therefore, TARA membership allows you to take immediate advantage of the following services: - Healthcare services in the network of Cedars medical centers at subsidized rates that include clinical visits, Laboratory tests and X-Rays. - With regard to hospitalization (In-patient), Cedars arranged private insurance offer to our members. -Online Psychological support. -Free consultations from a medico-social specialists to set a medical and social record for each member. -Special discount on tuition fees from various universities. - Special discounted prices from the shops.
Also, since its establishment, and due to the successive crises that Lebanon faces time and time again, it was necessary for TARA to establish a charitable channel to be used to serve its members and their families, including: -Scholarship for students. -Financial support for many families when needed. -Projects to support women and preserve their dignity through training and rehabilitation to ensure their independence. -Taking care of an orphan child in his family for the sake of family reunification and reducing family abandonment. -Geriatrics care. -Free visits by doctors and social workers to some struggling rice families. -Full coverage of medical services for some struggling families. -Food supplies. -Residential rental allowance support. -Renovating and repair for some homes.
To these two tasks, TARA added national activities, For example for the first time in the history of Lebanon, a celebration of International Firefighters' Day was organized by Cedars Mutual Fund.
Those three advantages of TARA encouraged many families to rush to join the TARA family, as their number now exceeds 800 families, and this number is constantly increasing.
Waiting for you to join our family too; We wish you lasting safety, security and happiness.
